Artist Spotlight: Dan Kwarcinski

Art and design are my true passions and what I was born to do. My never-ending, near-impossible goal is to give the joy of art to everyone, so I enjoy attacking many styles and different aspects of art creation. After getting a fine arts degree in painting and 25 years of experience creating countless commissioned drawings, paintings, and digital artworks, I take great joy when I get the chance to make art for myself.  When I do, I am deeply committed to the philosophy of “art for art’s sake.” For me, this means creating art that is mainly focused on aesthetics, without much, if any, concern for practical or moral considerations; The joy of simply bringing into existence something that never was, and never could have been without me.

I believe that art should be a celebration of creativity and that it should be free from any external constraints. When not working on commissioned pieces, I am free from the art having to serve a specific purpose and can simply express my creative vision.

I believe that art should be a celebration of creativity and that it should be free from any external constraints.

I make art by hand, I draw, I paint. I also embrace the newest digital technology and embody the spirit of the AI Revolution in my art. I often use hand-drawn ideas to inspire AI prompts and Ai to inspire my hand-drawn art.  It’s truly an amazing time to be an artist.

For me, creating art is a personal and meditative experience. I lose myself in the creation process and am constantly exploring new ways to express myself through my work.
