Where are you from and how does that affect your work?

I’m from the West Coast of the United States. Don’t think it really affects my work much.

Who are your biggest artistic influences?

I can’t say I have any, I like a lot of artists, but I don’t really study them, or art in general.

Tell me about your favorite medium.
-
I like them all. I appreciate all art forms. As for me, I keep it simple: pencil, markers, thick bright acid-free cardstock/index.

Where do you find inspiration?

Everywhere, I never know where a pattern might emerge, I just hope to recall it.

When is your favorite time of day to create?
-
Depends on the day, but usually any. Some days, if i have time, I’ll spend the whole day working on pieces.

Describe how art is important to society.

It invokes thoughts and feelings, usually positive.

What motivates you to create?

I have a lot of supplies, so I need to use them all.

How do you define success as an artist?

I don’t.  I’d rather focus on happiness as an artist. Success can mean many things.
