Artist Spotlight: Harry Pack
Harry Pack is a British multi-media artist whose surreal depictions of alternate dimensions aim to engage and activate the unconscious mind of the viewer. Spanning painting, drawing, and digital mediums, his practice reflects themes of human perception and psyche, deeply influenced by psychedelic culture.
Harry’s work transcends the fragility of the material world, encouraging viewers to contemplate something more stable and infinite. His kaleidoscopic paintings present visual realms both fantastical and strangely familiar, populated by extra-terrestrial forms and dream-like landscapes composed of fractal shapes and geometric patterns.
In his creative process, Harry explores his own experiences of life, using art as a tool to deepen his awareness of reality and self-understanding. Through visual storytelling, he invites others to see beyond the parameters of the image and to spend time inside the places he creates, taking interest in what others find within his world, simultaneously sparking the imagination of the viewer and opening conversations around creativity and the many benefits of self-expression.

Inspired by his own experience of reality and journey of recovery from detachment, Harry incorporates a spiritual toolkit into his creative process, infusing the personas of his characters with the healing tools he has developed for the viewer to also experience. He recreates childhood memories using the psychedelic aesthetic he has developed over the years as a tool to go back in time and explore the world we grow into from an older perspective, using the creative process as a vessel for observation.
Through his project, The Purple UFO, he seeks to bring together various spiritual, therapeutic, and creative practices, fostering new ideas and broadening the audience for psychedelic research. With a focus on integration and collaboration, Harry aims to create space for professionals in the field of psychedelic research to engage with the creative and spiritual worlds, ultimately contributing to the evolution of new therapeutic practices and ideas.
Harry has subconsciously created a multiverse within his art which he explores further with each new piece that is created, navigating the strange landscapes and characters within his work through conversation with others. He sees art and creativity as the hidden language of the Universe, deciphered by the soul. In order to activate the artwork it must be discussed with another, that is where the hidden secrets are found which allow the garden to grow.
