Mia Otto has a deep passion for acrylic painting, particularly using vibrant neon UV reactive colors. She loves incorporating aerosol paint into her mixed media work and is eager to further develop her skills in this area. Her use of such vivid colors is designed to captivate and uplift, bringing brightness to the viewer’s experience.

Mia’s journey in art began in childhood, with a focus on art throughout her schooling, participating in and winning various art competitions. She pursued graphic design at the School of Advertising Arts, but it was painting where she found her true passion. For over eight years, she has been dedicated to sharing and selling her artwork.

Her career gained momentum in California in 2016, when she began live-painting and selling her art at electronic music events. Upon returning to Ohio, Mia continued to thrive, live-painting at more electronic music festivals. The EDM scene has played a significant role in her success, helping her become the well-known artist she is today.

Through the festival community, Mia connected with the Creative Collective by Shawn and Jenny Holland, which has prominently featured her art and helped showcase it on much of the merchandise she sells. The Creative Collective has been instrumental in supporting numerous artists across Ohio and beyond.

Recently, Mia expanded her expertise to mural painting, completing an impressive 8×20 foot mural for the Hancock County Fairgrounds—her largest project to date. With more projects in the pipeline, Mia continues to push creative boundaries, experimenting with new techniques and mediums. Her art, a staple in the EDM scene, spreads joy and energy to everyone who experiences it, inspiring others with her resilience and creativity as she transforms her childhood dream into a thriving career.
